VoiceMeeter Standard
The entry edition: two hardware inputs and one virtual device, mixed into two outputs. If you want to hear your microphone and your PC at the same time, run your voice through an EQ and a gate, and send the result to a call or a stream — Standard does that with the least surface area to get wrong.

Standard is the right choice when
- You have one microphone and one pair of headphones.
- You want system audio and voice in the same call or stream, with basic shaping.
- You are new to virtual audio and want the smallest configuration that works.
- You run a laptop and no external interface.
Move up when
- Banana — you need three or more simultaneous virtual inputs (game, music, voice chat), patchbay routing, or three hardware outputs. See Banana.
- Potato — you need five hardware inputs, a multitrack recorder, VBAN streaming or per-bus inserts. See Potato.
