VoiceMeeter Potato
The professional edition. Eight strips, three independent virtual devices, inserts on every bus and a recorder that writes each bus to its own track while you work. This is the build for a studio rack, a broadcast desk or a stream that needs stems afterwards.

Three virtual devices, three jobs
- VoiceMeeter Input (VAIO) — Windows default playback. Game, browser, media. Route to A1 and to the stream bus.
- VoiceMeeter AUX Input (VAIO AUX) — a second, independent device. Voice chat lives here so it can be muted on the stream bus without touching the game.
- VoiceMeeter VAIO3 Input (VAIO Bus) — a third device for music, a second PC or a DAW return.
Multitrack recording
- Open the recorder panel from the VoiceMeeter Potato menu.
- Pick the output folder and file format; each bus writes its own file.
- Arm, record, stop. Tracks stay time-aligned because they come from the same engine clock.
- Import the stems into a DAW for the mix — no re-recording, no sync drift.
VBAN over the network
VBAN sends audio between VoiceMeeter instances and to VBAN Talkie mobile apps. Give each stream a name, point the receiver at the sender's LAN address, and pick the sample rate and buffer. Wireless microphones, a second machine's audio and remote monitoring all ride the same protocol.
Potato or Banana?
Banana: 3 hardware inputs, 2 virtual inputs, 3 buses, no recorder. Potato: 5 hardware inputs, 3 virtual devices, per-bus inserts, multitrack recorder, wider VBAN. If you never record stems and never need a third virtual device, Banana is leaner. Banana breakdown.
